Working with John

                                    HELLO EVERYBODY

It has been long time since I show up and say Hey to everybody.  Lots of good things have happen and I will blog about them as I go. Now I will have more time to invest in my blog, answer your questions and emails and spend a little more time.  Its a lot of fun to blog and make new friends,  If you are new to my blog you can contact me HERE

The last job I did was  towards the end of last year. I had the pleasure of being part of the team  who performed the new addition to the kitchen of  Mrs. Edwina Johnson the wife of  Mr. Tom Johnson former President of CNN.  It was a   a great pleasure to meet this wonderful couple and  enjoy several conversations while having lunch together.
The job was a great opportunity, lots of new products to learn about, more experience to acquire, and lots of fun.
I was invited to participate in this new addition to Mr. Johnson's Residence by my good friend John.
John is a Master Carpenter with full knowledge of all phases of building a house from the ground up.There he is in the red T-shirt.

The guy in the blue T-shirt is Fernando, great guy to work with. He is a very skilled  stucco man who did a wonderful job.

Here I am doing some drywall finishing after we installed the new canister lights.
This job was a lot of fun as I said before. The ugly part was the drive home everyday and having to deal with so much traffic around Atlanta.

My special thanks to John for inviting me as part of this team. I surely enjoyed the opportunity to meet the Johnson's and to be able to serve them. May God continue Blessing each of You.

For comments or any other questions or if you would like to contact John, please email me HERE

Hey everyone

It has been raining all day today.... it gave me the idea
to blog a bit about water leaks. That is after I have me some pop-corn without dirtying any more dishes. Here is one idea...

Fussing to try and find a leak as soon as it happens is something that could put you in the hospital. Never go on top of your roof on a windy or rainy day and never, I mean never go up there alone.

-Gutters that have not been cleaned can cause the water to build up during rain.  Gutter leaks will cause eave and  facial to rot, leading to expensive repairs.

-Ventilation boots are the creators of another type of leak. The sun destroys the rubber boot causing a leak in the ceiling.

-The installation or replacement of  flashing around chimneys, against siding and others will decrease the chance and or put an end to a leak.

-Exterior rot around your windows usually caused by sun and water damage, when not maintained,  will end up allowing water to penetrate inside the wall. Remember that where there is wet wood there are bugs also the possibility of finding large colonies of mildew, black mold and other deadly bacterias normally undetectable until their population is large and the home inhabitants begin to get sick.

-Other leaks are interior coming from the upper bathroom or laundry room and `your immediate attention is always less expensive than to wait.

It is always cheaper to call your handyman and ask him to spot and fix a leak as soon as you find it. Most of us will give you a free quote on how much all your repairs will be.

If you live in the Gwinnet, Walton or Barrow Counties in Georgia and do not have a Handyman you can contact us and we will be happy to help you.

To each of You
May God Abundantly Bless You

Amazing!... a new year already, and it doesn't look too promising, some may say... lets turn that vision around and see it as a year full of Victory and Success.

If you have Jesus in your heart you can make this year a wonderful year for you. Ask God for the Wisdom you need to accomplish it. He will give it to you.
Seek Him, spend time with him.

Set aside a time to pray, for our leaders, for Israel, for the needy, the sick, the one who doesn't believe.. pray
Thank You for the opportunity to serve you, we wish to be of equal or even better help this new year.
Blessings
